Conference on Processing Technologies for the Forest and Bio-based Products Industries
we are pleased to invite you to the 5th International Conference on Processing Technologies for the Forest and Bio-based Products Industries (http://ptfbpi.fh-salzburg.ac.at/home.html), which will take place on 20-21 September 2018 in Freising/Munich.
The PTF BPI 2018 conference builds upon the previous successful editions held in Kuchl/Salzburg, Austria (2010 and 2014) and St. Simons Island/Georgia, USA (2012 and 2016).
This biennial conference provides a forum for discussions and networking opportunities among teaching staff, researchers and producers of forest and bio-based products and acts as a catalyst for new research and development, and applications for manufacturing industries.
The 2018 edition of PTF BPI Conference is organized by the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences and the Technical University of Munich and scientifically supported by Forest Products Society, International Union of Forest Research Organizations (IUFRO) and the Interreg Project FORESDA. Optional is possible to visit several wood engineering companies and higher education institutions in Rosenheim. A conference banquet connected to the brewery tradition at site will be also organized. The best contributions will be selected and proposed for the European Journal of Wood and Wood Products, Forest Products Journal and Pro Ligno Journal.
